Chicago & Hartford Offices Open for Business

LONDON, 1 June 2009 - Ascot Underwriting is pleased to announce that its new offices in Chicago, IL and Hartford, CT are now writiing business, focusing on the busy July 1 renewal period.

Headed by Rory Cline in Chicago and Paul Amrose in Hartford, these offices will offer primarily property facultative reinsurance for our US clients and brokers with products that support a broad range of business classes including (but not limited to):

- Non-proportional / excess-of-loss

- Real estate, manufacturing, retail, habitational, municipalities, inland marine, builders risks, boiler & machinery

- Substantial fire capacity lines (up to $50M)

- Lead line capacity (brokered fac)

- Catastrophe coverage including terrorism
