Gareth qualified as a chartered accountant with Ernst & Young in 1991 and has held finance and operational roles in a number of different industries. He joined Ascot in 2002 and previously held the positions of Claims Manager and Head of Internal Audit before being promoted to Operations Director and a member of the Board in 2008.
